Abhijit Davare is a Research Scientist in the SoC Tools and Methods Group at Intel Labs. Previously, he was a Research Scientist in the Platform Validation group at Intel Corporation. Abhijit received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from UC Berkeley in Fall 2007. He was advised at UC Berkeley by Prof. Alberto Sangiovanni-Vincentelli and his dissertation topic was "Automated Mapping for Heterogeneous Multiprocessor Embedded Systems" . Abhijit received a M.S. in EECS from UC Berkeley in 2004 and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002.

Abhijit is a recipient of 5 divisional/departmental awards at Intel, the Best Paper Award at the 2007 Design Automation Conference, the Lim Predoctoral Prize in EECS at UC Berkeley in 2004, the California Microelectronics Fellowship in 2002-2003, and the Outstanding Senior Award in Computer Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh in 2002. He has authored over 15 refereed journal and conference publications. His interests are in the areas of electronic system-level design automation, design space exploration, embedded software, optimization algorithms, and resilient architectures.
